    These are examples of the questions people ask when they know only part of a word.

    What five-letter words contain A and E?

    Set the word length to five and add A and E to Must include. The results will contain both letters in any positions.

    What five-letter crossword words start with C and have E in the fourth spot?

    Use the pattern C??E?. Each question mark leaves that position open while C and E stay fixed.

    What six-letter words have A in the second spot and no S or T?

    Use the pattern ?A???? and add S and T to Exclude. Every result will keep A in position two and omit both excluded letters.

    What five-letter words contain at least two Es?

    Set the length to five and enter EE in Must include. Repeated letters in Must include set the minimum count.

    How do I find a word when some letters are missing?

    Type the letters you know and use a question mark for each missing letter. For example, B?T?ER searches six-letter words with B, T, E, and R in those positions.

    What five-letter words contain P but not G or X?

    Set the length to five, add P to Must include, and add G and X to Exclude. Every result will contain P and omit G and X.
